Christina Lake Arts and Artisans wants you!

Annual General Meeting

August 22, 2024 5:00PM to 7:00PM

Christina Lake Community Hall

Jim Lawrence

Jim developed a keen fascination for the natural world in early childhood. Life in the bush abruptly seeped into his heart and soul, and has driven him to capture the character and essence of every living organism he encounters. When he ran out of money while travelling in Africa, he took work in a Kodak processing and printing facility. He received formal training at the Durban Institute of Technology in South Africa.

Jim MacDonald

Local resident, chef and baker, Jim MacDonald aka Jimmy Bean puts his hand to the canvas and eye to the camera. His work is inspired by the seasons and beauty of local surroundings...

Merielle Kazakoff

"I am very much inspired by the natural beauty surrounding where I live in British Columbia, Canada. Capturing not just a picture, but a visual story, is what I seek with my camera.  I explore the outdoors as much as possible, I am an editor of words professionally, and I will stop to talk to all dogs. Some of my photos can be seen at the Arts on 3 Gallery in Christina Lake, BC. I also share this love affair on social media. I'm always happy to meet others on the journey."
